How much will Cinapse cost for my production?

Pricing update preview.

Cinapse's new pricing is structured to scale with the scope and requirements of each production, from independent films to major studio franchises.

Every pricing tier includes unlimited prep. Some common examples of the price per production would be:

  • $45 for a 3-day short ($25K budget)
  • $299 for a 20-day independent feature ($1.5M budget)
  • $4,749 for a 75-day television series with 20 days of 2nd Unit work ($70M budget)
  • $7,499 for a $100M feature or television series (150 shoot days)

How can I get my production on Cinapse?

Starting December 1, 2025, you can purchase a production subscription directly in the Cinapse app. The new checkout form will guide you through entering expected number of shoot days, your production company’s name, tax ID, address, and other relevant details to complete your subscription.

What if my shoot is longer/shorter than what I paid for?

If your production runs longer than expected, Cinapse will automatically charge for the additional shoot days once your scheduled days are completed.

If you wrap early, you’ll receive a refund for any unused shoot days.

How can I find out if my studio is covering Cinapse?

Cinapse is used across a wide range of studio and streamer productions at Disney, Netflix, Amazon, Sony, Warner Bros., Paramount, NBCU, and more.

If you’re unsure whether your production is already covered, email support@cinapse.io.

Our team can confirm coverage and, if needed, coordinate directly with your UPM, Line Producer, or production office to set up your production’s subscription.

What happens to my current individual subscription?

  • Monthly: Active until your current billing cycle ends.
  • Annual: If principal photography has already started for your current production, your individual subscription will remain active until the production wraps. Any unused time on your annual subscription will be automatically refunded pro-rata in cash.
  • Team: You’re all set. Nothing changes.

What if I’ve already started a schedule and the production doesn't pay for Cinapse?

If you’re already filming and you’re managing the schedule for a show while on an individual subscription and principal photography has already started, you’ll remain on your individual subscription until the show wraps.

If you have not started principal photography by December 1, please contact us and our team will help coordinate with your producers for a production subscription. If your show still can’t transition, we’ll handle exceptions case-by-case to ensure you aren’t stranded.

Will I lose my data?

No. Your projects and data remain safe and accessible throughout this transition.

Why is Cinapse moving away from individual subscriptions?

Scheduling software serves the entire production, not just the AD department. It’s critical production infrastructure and the foundation of every film and television series.

This change allows us to price Cinapse in line with the value it brings to productions, similar to how tools like Scenechronize, SyncOnSet, RABS, and more are covered by the production, not by individuals in the Production department. Costumes department, or AD department.

Can I still build a schedule whenever I need to?

Yes. You can build unlimited free productions with just yourself in that production, as one team member. When you need to collaborate and use Cinapse’s enterprise features, then the production or studio needs to pay. This allows us to best support you and the whole industry.

You can pay out of pocket if you want to, but you shouldn’t have to.

What if my production is super-ultra-low-budget?
